The Joys of OLD plumbing

These picture are of my neighbors root infested 70 year old plumbing. Check out the practically non existing pathway!

It was all too gross not to take a picture off. Plus come on it is pretty interesting!

First off the joys of old plumbing are that it will have to be replaced for a lot of money (oh joy).

Then there are the joys of having ones front lawn completely torn up.

This is not a small pipe, it is at least 6 or even 8 inches in diameter.

If you have old plumbing remember to use root killer a couple times a year.

The other joys of old plumbing is that if you neighbor has old plumbing it is likely you do too! Maybe we will be lucky and we'll be next (special torture) Hurray!

But really the best and most joyful part is that it will entertain just about anyone around to watch!

Bah to old plumbing!! This is why we are replacing all of ours. I would rather replace it now, instead of waiting for my basement to flood with poo water (which is what I am anticipating).

Hopefully, all of the roots are going through the neighbor's pipes and not your pipes.

The pictures of the kids are so cute. I bet they were fascinated by the whole process. I know TMK LOVES big machines. Root killer is the solution. I am not sure what it will do after the problem, but Rooto Rooter then root killer helps a lot and you still get to keep your trees.

OOOOO YUCK!! We have to pour root killer down our pipes to kill roots. Cuz we do get poo water in our basement.
Our outside pipes are suppose to be pretty new but who knows. We already replaced the inside ones after we got poo water in our basement.
